The shaping bayJD is a surfer first. He set up his garage workshop in the heart of Bali's most famous surf area and started shaping in 2021.
He believes surfers need boards made for them: their style, their technique, the spots and the conditions they surf. The opposite of mass-produced boards pushed by the big volume brands.
Today his boards are ridden by local Indo surf heroes and by serious surfers in Hawaii, Australia, California, New Zealand and beyond.
